Brooklyn-based Reiki healing

with Betsy Guttmacher:

energetic medicine for the whole you.

Reiki supports connectivity & capacity — our capacity to feel, to function, to be in right relationship with ourselves, our loved ones, and our world.

Simple. Silent. Transformative.

Hi, I’m Betsy.

My approach to Reiki is collaborative and supportive. We work without judgement or expectation. We let Reiki nourish, release, and surprise.

Together we shift mountains big and small. And, sometimes we simply rest to enjoy the view. Laughter, tears, all the things in between. Reiki always brings just what you need in the moment.

My practice centers self-healing and coming home to your intuition. Our work together fosters physical, emotional, and spiritual radiance.

Betsy Guttmacher (she/her)

I am a Reiki Master certified in the Usui Reiki Lineage by Maha Rose Healing Center.

My expansive holistic training and certification includes MINKA Brooklyn’s Earth Evolution Reiki & Consciousness of Radical Equity Training (CORE), Awaking Prana Level 2, Therapeutic Touch (™) level 1, and Craniosacral Therapy 1 & 2 with Jonathan Brusollo.

My practice is centered on increasing our capacity for self-healing and emotional regulation with an emphasis on stress management, addiction recovery and physical/mental/emotional resilience.

I have practiced Reiki in western medical settings including Yale New Haven Hospital and NYC HHC Coler Hospital Dementia unit, and with community based organizations including the Park Slope Center for Successful Aging, and Heights and Hills Caregiver and Case Management programs.

I am a regular practitioner for the MINKA Brooklyn Community Reiki Clinic and volunteers with Maha Rose’s Brooklyn Community Reiki.

She am also a founding member of the Wise Up workshop facilitation team and co-lead Brooklyn Pop-Up Reiki with Boshko Bo.

Before practicing Reiki full-time, Betsy worked in NYC’s government, non-profit and philanthropy sectors developing programs, shaping policy and managing volunteers at all stages and ages.

I am committed to the practice of reiki as an act of service:  we practice in service to ourselves, each other, our global ecosystem, and our cosmos.
