Parenting is hard work and can bring up so much about our own childhood experiences! As we come into our own as new parents, we are often also reparenting our younger selves. Reiki is a gentle loving energy healing modality that has so much to offer us during this potent period of transformation and adjustment.

Reiki is a time-honored simple pathway to soothing &healing our inner child; come to explore, learn & receive in a welcoming nonjudgmental playful circle of support with other new and expecting parents. Leave grounded and buoyant with mindful tools for you & your family!

In this 1.5-hour workshop you will:

• Learn about the 100-year-old Japanese healing practice of Reiki

• Explore connecting to your own subtle energy body

• Practice a few Reiki hand positions for emotional regulation and stress management

• Receive real-time instruction and supportive feedback

• Receive a 30-minute reiki & sound bath healing to integrate new information and sooth the nervous system

• Leave grounded and buoyant with new tools to practice at home for yourself and your family

This workshop is for new & expecting parents who are:

• curious about Reiki or working with the subtle energy-body

• searching for new tools for emotional regulation, stress management

• wishing to shift from ego-centered to heart-centered approach to life

• wanting mindful strategies to call in balance

• hoping to break intergenerational cycles/patterns that no longer serve us

Reiki is a century-old holistic practice used for addressing mental, physical and emotional distress; sessions incorporate light touch and the hovering of hands close to the body. Humans have been using the healing power of touch and working with the subtle energy body for all recorded history.
